The Plyke® Huge is the bicycle bell for an explorer at heart. Crafted from high-quality aluminium, the bell’s appearance follows a natural shape. This enables a durable and sustainable structure. Clocking in significantly louder than a traffic jam, the Plyke Huge paves your way on your next trip.

Meet the Plyke® Huge, the first bicycle bell designed with nature in mind. In its design, we aim to emulate nature – simplicity balanced with complexity. All of the bell’s functionalities – from tightening to its sound – are integrated into a single metal structure. This gives the bell its signature look, along with superior durability and sustainability. This is a bicycle bell out of the future. Let’s make it the present.

Our Journey

The Plyke® Huge is the result of years of ideation, development, and testing. We have tested the bell in various environments, ranging from the arid mountainous Alpine climate of Southern Germany – to windy coastal areas of South Holland – to freezing and snowy conditions in Northern Estonia. We’ve tested them all, ensuring the Plyke® Huge handles whatever journey it goes on.

After a successful launch on Kickstarter, the Plyke® campaign was funded 140% within a month. We enabled hundreds of eager early adopters to get their hands on the Plyke® bell and gathered their experience and feedback. Ever since, we’ve been back in the studio working on the next edition, the Plyke® Huge. And we’re super glad that this day has come.

The Plyke® Huge

The new Plyke® Huge takes previous editions to a whole new level. We’ve made the design even more streamlined and sustainable, improved the ergonomics, made the sound even noticeable, simplified the installation, and a lot more.

The Sound

The Plyke® Huge emits a crisp, clear tone that cuts through the noisiest environments, ensuring you’re always heard. Tested for its resonance, this bell’s ring has been fine-tuned to the perfect pitch, balancing power with elegance. With every chime, you’re not just signaling your presence; you’re projecting a sound that harmonizes with nature.

Durability

The Plyke® Huge is engineered to endure the toughest conditions while maintaining its flawless performance. Crafted from high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum, it’s built to withstand the test of time, no matter where your journey takes you. Whether you’re biking through torrential rain, freezing snow, or scorching heat, this bell is made to resist the elements and keep performing at its best.

Sustainability

The Plyke® Huge is built not only to last but to leave a minimal ecological footprint. From sourcing recycled aluminum to using non-toxic finishes, every step of the production process has been optimized for sustainability. Even the packaging is eco-conscious, using recyclable materials and minimal waste principles.

The Design Team

The design team behind Plyke® is made up of two industry professionals bringing a variety of skills and experience to the table.

Mihkel is in charge of business and marketing, and having lived and mingled in the cycling ecosystems in Germany, the Netherlands, and Estonia. At Plyke®, he works on bridging the natural world with urban environment. There, the Plyke® Huge serves as the product literally paving the way into a healthier environment through its sound.

Evren is the super-engineer of the duo. Having worked in product development for years, Evren has the technical expertise to design essentially everything that comes into mind. Otherwise, he loves cats and photography and never shys away from an adventure.

Our work and progress have been noticed and covered by multiple organizations all over Europe, including Wise, Garage48, Prototron, Postimees, Geenius, and many other.
