Our Journey
The Plyke® Huge is the result of years of ideation, development, and testing. We have tested the bell in various environments, ranging from the arid mountainous Alpine climate of Southern Germany – to windy coastal areas of South Holland – to freezing and snowy conditions in Northern Estonia. We’ve tested them all, ensuring the Plyke® Huge handles whatever journey it goes on.
After a successful launch on Kickstarter, the Plyke® campaign was funded 140% within a month. We enabled hundreds of eager early adopters to get their hands on the Plyke® bell and gathered their experience and feedback. Ever since, we’ve been back in the studio working on the next edition, the Plyke® Huge. And we’re super glad that this day has come.

The new Plyke® Huge takes previous editions to a whole new level. We’ve made the design even more streamlined and sustainable, improved the ergonomics, made the sound even noticeable, simplified the installation, and a lot more.

The Design Team
The design team behind Plyke® is made up of two industry professionals bringing a variety of skills and experience to the table.
Mihkel is in charge of business and marketing, and having lived and mingled in the cycling ecosystems in Germany, the Netherlands, and Estonia. At Plyke®, he works on bridging the natural world with urban environment. There, the Plyke® Huge serves as the product literally paving the way into a healthier environment through its sound.
Evren is the super-engineer of the duo. Having worked in product development for years, Evren has the technical expertise to design essentially everything that comes into mind. Otherwise, he loves cats and photography and never shys away from an adventure.
Recognition
Our work and progress have been noticed and covered by multiple organizations all over Europe, including Wise, Garage48, Prototron, Postimees, Geenius, and many other. Starting out from an office at a coworking space in Estonia, Plyke bells have reached notable owners, including the former President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid as well as the Foreign Minister of Germany Annalena Baerbock.

Comptability: Fits bicycles with a handlebar diameter of the standard 22.2 mm. This is the prevailing standard for city bicycles.
